Dishes for the cooking class

Moussaka
Moussaka is a traditional Greek dish, typically made with layers of eggplant, minced meat, and a rich béchamel sauce. This vegan version uses flavorful soy-based ground meat, making it a delicious plant-based alternative. For an even healthier twist, a creamy cashew béchamel sauce adds a rich and satisfying taste without the heaviness of dairy.
Spanakopita - Spinach Cake
Spanakopita is a traditional Greek spinach pie made with flaky filo pastry and a delicious spinach filling. We prepare our filo dough from scratch and create the most flavorful filling with fresh spinach and a variety of aromatic herbs. This dish is a true delight for all lovers of Mediterranean cuisine!

Cretan Dakos
Cretan Dakos is a traditional Greek dish consisting of a barley rusk topped with tomatoes, olive oil, and cheese. This version features a special plant-based twist, using homemade almond-based feta instead of the traditional dairy cheese. The combination of crunchy rusk, juicy tomatoes, and creamy almond feta creates a delicious and refreshing Mediterranean appetizer.
Homemade Almond Feta
We first make almond cream by blending almonds with water, then separate the almond pulp from the milk, and finally use the pulp to create a delicious plant-based feta with a creamy yet firm texture, offering a tangy flavor. This almond feta is rich in healthy fats and provides a great dairy-free alternative for cheese lovers. Perfect for salads, spreads, or as a topping, it enhances any meal with its unique taste.

Fava
Fava is a traditional Greek dish made from pureed yellow split peas, often served with olive oil, lemon juice, and onions. It has a smooth, creamy texture and is commonly enjoyed as a dip or spread, paired with bread or vegetables. Rich in protein and fiber, Fava is both a nutritious and flavorful appetizer found in Mediterranean cuisine.
Tzatziki
Tzatziki is a traditional Greek dip made from creamy yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, olive oil, and fresh herbs like dill or mint. Its refreshing and tangy flavor makes it a perfect accompaniment to warm pita bread, fresh vegetables, or as a sauce for various Mediterranean dishes. Whether used as a dip or a side dish, tzatziki adds a cool and flavorful touch, making it a staple in Greek cuisine.

Koulouri - Sesam Curls
Koulouri is a popular Greek street food, consisting of a soft yet crunchy sesame-crusted bread ring, often enjoyed for breakfast. Its slightly chewy texture and nutty flavor pair perfectly with cream cheese or jam for a delicious and satisfying snack. Found in bakeries and street stalls across Greece, Koulouri is a staple in the daily routine of many locals.
Ekmek - Dessert Speciality
Ekmek is a Greek dessert that is often made with a base of rusks or stale bread soaked in sweet syrup. It has a creamy layer of vanilla pudding or semolina cream on top, followed by fluffy whipped cream. It is then sprinkled with cinnamon and chopped nuts and served well chilled.
